I have experience all across the board, from caregiving to retail. In the last few years I have begun my career in the library world. I currently work as a Youth Assistant at Saline District Library helping run programs and storytimes. I am currently working towards my Masters in Library and Information Science (MLIS).I am a graduate from Eastern Michigan University with a Masters of Art in Children's Literature. I have a Bachelors of Art from Eastern Michigan University in Language, Literature, and Writing with a double minor in Women and Gender Studies and Children's Literature. I have experience with both MLA and APA writing styles. I am excellent at performing administrative tasks and proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Drive. Some of my skills include clear and concise writing and editing documents. I have excellent attention to detail and work well under pressure and deadline. I have experience working with directly with patrons helping them check out and return materials, as well as processing incoming children's materials to prepare them for circulation. I have developed my own programs, helped with other programs including running programs. I currently plan and host a weekly storytime as well.
