Product Engineering and Design at Parse.ly covers the design, development, and maintenance of our web app, used by companies like Conde Nast, Bloomberg, and Vox. My team is responsible for the discovery process, wireframing, prototyping, and release and maintenance of all of the features of our web application. My role on the team was to bring the wireframes and designs that we built to life in our product. As a member of the Product Engineering and Design team at Parse.ly, a feature I released was I integrated Google Search Console data to visualize high-performing keywords and articles using D3.js and Vue.js. I designed high-fidelity mockups and prototypes of new reports and widgets in Figma as part of my design responsibility for the team. I developed a monthly SEO report for at-a-glance information regarding Search performance for our clients. I released client-facing code for our web app that allowed users to view their data in different ways, and maintained all of my code through tests, documentation, and communications written for both internal and external viewing. I wireframed and prototyped a Content Marketing Report surfacing at-a-glance Salesforce information enriched with content data using Django and Vue.js. I also designed a product initiative as part of our planning for 2024 development; I interviewed clients and folks who worked in the market that we are trying to break into and designed solutions to the problems they faced. I've collaborated with Product Management to make final decisions on product roadmap, and I've designed wireframes and proofs of concept to show possible examples of how future solutions might look. I also took part in a documentation overhaul where I ensured that all processes related to our deployment schedule or other maintenance work were well-documented and accessible to all teams, not just engineering.

As a member of the Solutions Engineering team, I was responsible for internal automation and providing support for our Customer Support organization, helping them automate daily toil by building tools for them to use that streamlined their day-to-day processes. I also documented all of our new and existing processes via Notion as holes in our documentation appeared.

As a Customer Support Engineer, I was Parse.ly's client-facing technical resource. It was my job to be the technical voice during client calls when customers had questions about their integrations. As a SaaS company, customer support is a large part of our business model, and I was the person who joined support alls with clients and helped them find answers to their questions about how to use our product. I also provided advanced integration support when customers purchased premium features like our conversions tracking, which required extra setup that I oversaw, using a process I designed, refined, and implemented for future members of the team.
