Oversee the operations of the Math Center, in collaboration with the coordinator and staff of the Math Center. Manage the budget for the Math Center. Recruiting students into the mathematics major and minor programs, with continued attention to recruiting minority students in to the mathematics major program. Advising and mentoring mathematics majors. Seeking research and internship opportunities, and informing the mathematics majors of these opportunities. Collaborate with the Associate Head of Undergraduate Affairs to advise the undergraduate committee on curricular issues,continue the emphasis of informing mathematics majors of research opportunities and produce a yearly report on the mathematics major program for the department head.
