I started my career as a Music Educator. Over the past few years I've found that schools, public and private, are only cutting music teachers or hiring ones fresh out of college without any earned experience to back up their degrees. This has led me to search for work in the Customer Service, Financial, or Software Industries. The skills I learned teaching over the last 11 years are very useful in many other job fields, including managing a team of adults, speaking with new clients, creating successful presentations, working with money, as well as finishing projects without having to be reminded of deadlines as I am very self motivated and goal oriented.
