About Jason Baker

I am a Mining Engineer/Resource Geologist with 25 years of total mining and exploration industry experience, including over 18 years in mining operations and 7 years as a mining engineer/resource geology consultant. I am a recognized Qualified Person as per NI 43-101 and CIM guidelines for the reporting of resources and reserves. I am proficient in Geovia (Gemcom) GEMS resource estimation and 3D modeling software as well as Geovia (Gemcom) Whittle pit optimization and planning software. I also have secondary experience with Surpac, MineSched, Datamine and MineSight software packages. I have co-authored numerous NI 43-101 Technical Reports and worked on numerous projects around the world including North America, South America, Asia and Europe. My expertise includes project management, mine health & safety, mine design/planning/scheduling, pit optimization, reconciliation and resource/reserve estimation involving a variety of commodities such as base metals, precious metals, lithium, coal and gypsum in a variety of deposit types including lithium pegmatite’s, narrow vein gold deposits, disseminated gold deposits, volcanic massive sulphides and Mississippi valley type deposits. I take pride in my ability to establish positive relationships with my fellow employees and colleagues. I strongly believe that the sharing of knowledge is one of the keys to a successful working environment.
