Jason supports Constellation's generation, customer supply and commodities trading interests by overseeing development of and advocacy for competitive wholesale electricity markets and the development of carbon-free energy solutions. His primary focus is on managing Constellation business strategies in the central United States serviced by the PJM Interconnection, the Mid-Continent ISO, and the Southwest Power Pool - some of the world's largest wholesale electricity markets. Internally, Jason teams with senior management to craft initiatives to influence development of federal and state electricity market regulations and legislation. Jason works closely with commercial personnel to develop business strategies that foster profitability in energy, capacity and financial product markets. Jason also teams with legal, economic, finance and engineering experts to develop influential federal and state advocacy strategies regarding energy market design and operation. Externally, Jason collaborates with market operators, market monitors, federal and state regulators, and other industry stakeholders to develop wholesale and retail electricity policies. Jason has served on the PJM Members Committee, MISO Advisory Committee, the PJM Finance Committee and the PJM and MISO Board Nominating Committees, as well as numerous technical markets, operations, and planning committees in PJM, the Mid-Continent ISO, the New York ISO, and ISO-New England. Jason also has experience testifying before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and state regulatory agencies.Jason is a current member of the Energy Bar Association. Jason formerly served as the Chair and board member of the PJM Power Providers group ("P3"), a non-profit trade organization that, at the time, represented over 80 GW of power generation in the PJM region.Jason's experience spans consolidation and spin of the Constellation and Exelon enterprises.
