I think I'd like to introduce myself differently from now on. After all, we're not just interested in what we do at work or what we think we're good at. We're more than that. Much, much more. About me: I am a black-hearted sinner saved by Yeshua of Nazareth to serve his kingdom in this life and the next. I go where he sends me, and I do what he wants as best I can understand it. I am a Christian, a Husband, a Father, a Friend, and a strong employee--in that order. To me, that's why we're all here! A majority of us aren't at work because we're bored or we need something to keep us busy. We're here to serve what's waiting at home for us. Married for 18 years to a very lovely woman. She's given me 7 beautiful, wonderful gifts. Children are God's gifts and blessings. I like spending time with my family. Bonfires, and smores, dancing in the yard. Vacations at the beach or the mountains.Lots of Love. We like singing Christian rap music, painting, and making other art. We take good care of each other and help out at home together. I like brewing my own beer and sharing it with friends. I study the Bible. I have 3 FDM printers. I like solid modeling and printing interesting things. I like board games and I enjoy MMORPG's. I also like to play golf, but I am not very good at it. That one sweet shot keeps us playing. I have been an engineering intern (EIT) for nearly 13 years. I have a Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina A&T from 2011. I have vast experience with engineering design, manufacturing, assembly, and validation. What I can do:I have designed buckets and attachments, kits, and validated track chains in previous experiences. Currently I am considered the subject matter expert for fasteners with my customer accounts (I do my best, but still plenty to learn). Kanban components, fittings, small assemblies, and other class C components are in my realm. I specialize in Technical solutions for rapid problem-solving and part substitution alternatives for OEM line-short events. I also specialize in finding, designing, and sourcing engineered fasteners and parts for my customers. I wear many hats within my organization supporting quality, materials, sourcing, sales, and operations. My number one goal with every interaction is to keep my people positive and smiling. If I can help solve your problem (aka, shoot your monkey, IYKYK), then I want to do just that.
