As a Team Leader, I am responsible for the productivity and standards of work being carried out during my shift. Managing up to 30 employees, I find good communication and organisation skills are key to ensure a high quality of work is maintained and crucial deadlines are met.

As a Technician my role was to carry out both electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding and testing on rolling stock. A necessity for this role is to possess good personal qualities which include; time management, integrity and communication. As a Technician I feel I was a valued member of the team, as I were a focal point for colleagues and drivers with specific technical queries, which requires the ability to make correct on the spot decisions. I was also more than comfortable to step up and carry out the duties of the TSE position in his absence and will always go above and beyond to ensure high standards are maintained.

As a Mechanical Assistant I was required to carry out unsupervised safety critical work on rolling stock. This role requires great integrity, teamwork and communication skills, as well as a good engineering understanding. The job consists of carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance which requires following strict engineering procedures.

As a preventative maintenance engineer, my predominant role was to carry out scheduledmaintenance, whether it be electrical or mechanical on food processing equipment. This role also required the need to reactive and attend breakdowns promptly to reduce down-time in the factory.

As a Senior Maintenance Engineer I was involved in the planning and carrying out of planned preventative maintenance on food processing machinery, as well as working reactively as a team member in event of a breakdown. As the company was relatively new, I was involved in the development of the future maintenance strategy to ensure the service plans, correct procedures and spares were in place for any upcoming maintenance. This also involved compiling a list of critical spares on machinery. In my time at Baader UK I revamped the procedure system, making it accessible through an online drive accessible via tablets. Also, I created an educational aid for any future employees which was a self-teaching documentation simplifying each asset machinery and processes.

As a service engineer, I was responsible for carrying out periodic servicing nationwide on avariety of brewery equipment supplied by Brewology, this also included the need to bereactive to attend any breakdowns. Other aspects of this role entailed:● Providing detailed service/breakdown reports.● Fault finding and rectification on both mechanical and electrical systems● Rewiring equipment in accordance with wiring diagrams.

As a mechanical supervisor working on the Sea King Mk 7 aircraft, I was responsible forsupervising corrective maintenance, planned preventative maintenance and functional testson mechanical systems, this also includes investigating and diagnosing complex faults inequipment or systems including gas turbine engines, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatic,airframes and flying controls which are all critical to the safety, efficiency and performance of the aircraft.

As a Multi-Skilled (Mechanical and Electrical) engineer, I was responsible for supervisedcorrective maintenance and fault diagnosis, also I was responsible for conducting before and after flight servicing on aircraft, to determine serviceability and to find any faults that may have of occurred during flight or routine maintenance.
