- I am a Senior Ground Validation Instruments Technician with ASRC Federal. I maintain, calibrate, and manage meteorological instruments for the Global Precipitation Measurement mission (GPM) at NASA Wallops Island flight facility (WFF). - I enjoy programming using python, HTML, PHP, MySQL, and (some) C. I also enjoy combining electronics and programming into practical solutions.Field Campaigns:- IPHEx (Integrated Precipitation Hydrology Experiment) Central North Carolina - [May 1 - Jun 15 2014] Field campaign consisting of multiple observation periods in which Duke University hosted NASA's Observational Science Branch (OSB). The campaign's goal was to observe the effects of orographic precipitation over complex terrains using Doppler, S, X and Ka-Ku band RADARS. Also, the University of North Dakota supplied a Cessna Citation for medium altitude observation, while NASA's ER-2 provided high altitude RADAR observation. In addition, over 80 ground instrument sites were set up covering central and western North Carolina.- IFloodS (Iowa Flood Studies) Iowa - [May 1 - June 15 2013] Collaboration between the University of Iowa and NASA to support the Ground Validation program activities of the Global Precipitation Measurement mission (GPM).
