  Jason joined our tax division in 1994 and has been our Tax Director since 2002. Before that, he worked for seven years in the private sector, including four years with Touche Ross in Wellington. Jason is responsible for the delivery of tax audit and assurance services within our client base, and has developed our tax audit approach in relation to income tax, GST and other taxes. He has a comprehensive understanding of the tax risks and issues affecting the public sector, and an in-depth knowledge of accounting for income tax. Jason is involved in the audit of most of our clients. He also provides training to Audit New Zealand staff on tax matters, and prepares tax-related items for the website.
