I love working with my hands and getting into the action. My experience through my career has primarily been solving complex engineering problems on the production floor and working with others educate on the task at hand and how to perform high-precision tasks manually. I've worked on various manufacturing lines including building large scale metallic and carbon fiber aerospace assemblies, carbon fiber guitars and have taken part in managing a bicycle assembly line. These jobs have been rewarding being able to work directly on products that I'm passionate about which are carbon fiber, mountain biking, and playing the guitar.I recently took great interest in composites manufacturing, laminate design, and HVLP painting. This has led to opportunities to become involved with research at Brigham Young University studying void formation in bismaleimide infused parts, teaching a composites night class at Salt Lake Community College, and learing how to paint aerospace assemblies. I hope to become more involved in composite design in the fields of Sporting Goods, Aerospace, Defense, or Biomedical companies.
