I started my professional career in the personal training industry. After working for 9 years as a trainer I discovered some things about myself that has help shaped my passions and goals for my life. One thing I learned was that I no longer wanted to do pursue a personal training career lol. But a more meaningful discovery was my ability and desire to lead. As a trainer you have to work to gain the trust of your clients and develop that personal relationship with them. Once that is established it is your job to become a good leader by pushing clients past their perceived limitations and have them understand their potential. However, the trick is to do it with empathy and kindness to let them know you are their with them every step of the way. I believe we need more good leaders in today's society and I want to help fulfill that void through more managerial and leadership positions.
