Lead a team that designed, developed, and maintained the Bonus Digital Copy (BDC) and Memory Stick Entertainment Pack (MSEP) products for the Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) and Sony Memory Stick business units, respectively. The BDC product was bundled with SPHE’s DVD and Bluray products, and offered the end user special “bonus” digital versions of the movie they purchased. This product supported up to three digital versions of the movie: a Windows Media Video version, a PlayStation Portable (PSP) version, and an iTunes version. In a similar fashion, the MSEP product was bundled with the Memory Stick PRO Duo media, and allowed the end user to unlock and download a digital version of a select Sony movie title onto the memory stick for playback on their PSP device. Both the BDC and MSEP products were powered by a J2EE-based web application that provided for the delivery and installation of a license to unlock and own the DRM-protected movie content.
