As COO my responsibilities included but are not limited to:• Managing the day-to-day operations of the company’s budget and financials, client relations, business development, and remote teams;• Conducting complex budget analytics and forecasting to preparing, monitoring, and executing the company’s budgets;• Preparing proposals, contracts, and timelines for project completion;• Focusing on metrics and KPI within the organization to direct operational efficiency and see that best practices are followed at all levels; • Personally and professionally serving as the point of contact for the organization;• Working directly with the majority of clients to determine their specific business needs and whom on the team will be assigned to them;• Serving as a primary client representative on projects dealing with Organizational and Human Resource Management as well as, Business Growth/Expansion and Economic Development opportunities; • Analyzing key industry and market data and sources to identify opportunities to increase the company’s exposure through relationship building, partnerships, social media; &• Coordinating, collaborating, and leading team brainstorming sessions, “white board” creation, team meetings, wrap-ups, and client/project presentations.

This approach prevents double entry mistakes and loss of funds.When it comes to providing merchant services, PaymentCollect's simultaneous Card Present and Card Not Present deployment lets you take payments reliably through payment terminals, email links, and securely stored cards.Responsibilities included, but were not limited to:• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company’s financials, IT, Development, and Sales Teams;• Establishing direct communication and relationships with new potential customers to not only drive increased sales but also assist in determining the appropriate solution for their needs, and then successful onboarding;• Performing cost-benefit analysis for each new merchant based on pricing and basis points to determine a profitable but fair fee for services;• Underwriting all applications on behalf of the merchants for approval by financial institutions and working closely with that department as well as, risk management and those departments which require Federal compliance; &• Fielding and assigning task management with regard to existing customer calls and ensuring they received accurate guidance, exceptional customer support, and were satisfied with the quick response they received as valued customers.

Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of 11 departments (Finance and Tax, Police and Fire, Water and Sewer, Public Works – Street and Fleet, Recreation, Planning/Zoning and Administration) and approximately 68 full-time and up-wards of 60+ part-time employees with an operating budget of $9 million as well as, but not limited to:•Formulated the annual budget and its submittal to elected officials and in charge of successful management and implementation;• Promoted the opportunities for economic development, business development, job creation, and increased revenue generation;•Worked with staff to systematically and strategically determine how to problem solve and be proactive vs reactive to situations across a number of areas to accomplish goals;•Utilized my knowledge to identify needs in terms of policy, analyzing outcome/impacts and implementing said policies; • Served as the Chief Information Officer;•Wrote and received grant funding totaling over $5 Million and administered oversight for project completion and also necessary reporting needs to local, state, and federal agencies; &•Worked with Southern Appalachian Highlands Conservancy to acquire ~450 acres of land within Canton, NC which will ultimately become the regional statement for outdoor active recreation in Western NC, surpassing that of a number of area regional destinations for hiking and mountain biking.

Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of 11 departments (Finance and Tax, Police and Fire, Water and Sewer, Public Works – Street and Fleet, Recreation, Planning/Zoning and Administration) as well as but not limited to:• Assisted with the annual budget preparation, its submittal and implementation;•Identified opportunities for economic development, job creation and generation of tax base for the Town;•Worked within the community and provided exception customer service to citizens;•Utilized knowledge of management skills to identify needs in terms of policy, analyzing outcome/impacts and implementing said policies once approved; •Served as Planner and Zoning Administrator; •Dealt diplomatically with local, state and federal officials in an effort to garner support not only for particular needs related to projects but those needs of the Town and community as a whole; •Supervised and coordinating projects; &•Grant writing.

With a population of approximately 3,300; Warsaw is a rural community located in Eastern North Carolina and employed 33 full-time employees with an operating budget of $5 million. I was responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of 7 departments (Finance and Tax Collection, Water and Sewer, Public Works – Street, Police and Administration) as well as: •Prepared the annual budget, submitting it to elected officials for approval and effective implementation;•Acted as Zoning Administrator and Planning Director;•Recommended, established and implemented new plans to ensure the Town’s objectives were met and that citizens were being equally served; •Coordinated the work of department heads and other employees to ensure services were being delivered in an effective and smooth manner; •Investigated, developed and recommended new programs/policies indicating scope, cost and impact for consideration; • Interacted with individuals throughout town on a daily basis in a professional and customer-friendly manner; •Grant writing; & •Responsible for planning and supervising community and event operations.
