Successfully led corrective programmes for Helpdesk performance (total enterprise) and Datacentre sourcing transition (Americas). Led an Application Decommissioning initiative across the total enterprise, resulting in the elimination of hundreds of applications and related interfaces, complexity, infrastructure and cost.

Led the "SAP as a Service" sourcing programme through full lifecycle resulting in a successful implementation of the largest IT outsourcing contract awarded in Europe in 2009. All Philips enterprise systems (over 200 SAP instances !) were consolidated to a single data centre (from some 11 different locations around the globe) and private cloud platforming solution. Delivered the full sourcing lifecycle from market assessment, bid reviews, negotiation & contracting to finalized implementation. Resulted in higher availability, faster systems response, stronger security & compliance and significantly reduced costs. In parallel drove a programme to harmonise ITIL processes and tooling throughout the enterprise for both Infrastructure and Applications as a pre-requisite to shifting sourcing strategy from "design, build, operate" towards "specify, acquire, performance manage".
