Expansion of previous role as Business Unit Manager of Information Technology for DSM Functional Materials to include oversight of IT responsibilities for all six DSM Resins sights in the US. Activities include:• Hands on project management for hosted VOIP migration from on premise PBX system for multiple sites in support of a corporate global unified communications strategy.• Hands on project management for network infrastructure projects including on premise data center relocation and campus cabling replacement.• Information technology services management – creation and implementation of regional policies and alignment with corporate initiatives for structured support of processes and procedures critical to the organization for planning, designing, and delivering efficient and sustainable IT services to the organization.• Leadership role for information technology risk management and compliance.

North America

- Responsible for the completion of security risk assessments leading to the creation of and implementation of business security plans for multiple sites in the US.- Planning, design, implementation, vendor direction for installation of security camera systems and access control systems for multiple sites in the US.- Support and advise leadership team on security issues along with implementation of security controls to mitigate identified risks.- Act on behalf of management and liaison with external relations like police and security organizations.- Supervision of and control over the (contracted) Security Guard Force.- Oversight of incident management ensuring accurate recording lessons learned and implementing corrective actions.- Provide coaching to management teams and training staff on security issues.- Compliance with Department of Homeland Security chemical facility anti-terrorism standards.- Chemical-terrorism Vulnerability Information (CVI) Authorized User. CVI is used to protect information developed under the Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) regulation that relates to vulnerabilities to terrorist attacks of high-risk chemical facilities manufacturing, using, storing, or otherwise possessing certain explosive, reactive, flammable, or toxic chemicals of interest.- Active participation in chemical facilities audits conducted by the US Department of Homeland Security. - Current member in good standing with ASIS (American Society for Industrial Security) and InfraGard (partnership between U.S. businesses and the Federal Bureau of Investigation).
