• Conduct extensive research and develop an understanding of the Client’s organization, including a review of relevant reports, industry, sector, and functional due diligence, and current literature.• Identify and develop qualified potential candidates utilizing Korn/Ferry’s local and global internal technologies, research, networks, and relationships. Collaborate with colleagues elsewhere within Korn/Ferry when appropriate and draw upon full relevant knowledge of resources.• Assist in managing all stages of the execution process under the direction of the Managing Director or Partner, raising issues in a timely manner, and working collaboratively with other Senior Associates and Administrative staff, and all other team members.• Initiate contact with candidates. Effectively and persuasively communicate the nature of the opportunity; accurately assess candidate’s qualifications against the approved position specification.• Interview candidates to define strengths/weaknesses, check references, and verify credentials.Summarize findings and present a comprehensive appraisal of candidates to Client.• Document all search activity as required by the firm’s current protocols. Draft all relevant documentation, including candidate reports and search status reports, to be finalized by the Partner.• Maintain on-going and timely communication with candidates and keep them informed as to status and progress of search, and also inform all relevant Managing Directors and Partners of the search progress.• Participate with a Partner to present best qualified candidates to the Client and assist in final interview and negotiation process.• Assist in the successful conclusion of the assignment and manage the communication of final placement and all relevant information to Administrative team member to ensure that education verification is completed.• Provide local industry and market intelligence as it relates to Client pitches and on-going Client competitive due diligence.
