I like hard "IT-people-culture" problems, from developing software and standards for the synthetic biology research community, to architecting secure computing with virtual machines and high performance computing. With a passion for education and engagement, I consult on cybersecurity, secure architectures, and AI, and build IT service platforms big and small. When not doing IT, I'm mostly gardening, cooking, playing guitar, hiking, and skating in the Bay Area or skiing in Big Sky, Montana.
