I retired from the United States Army after 26 years of service. In my position I was good at effective communication skills, time management, critical thinking skills and supervisory skills. I was fortunate I had many opportunities to acquire these skills and recognize the importance of being a team player in every situation. I was lucky to have had several remarkable leaders who taught me the importance of team work and provided me the opportunities to supervise teams, deal with high stress situations and defuse conflict. Thanks to a number of challenging experiences I learned strategic thinking, supervisory experience and leadershipabilities. I am eager to connect with a business that might benefit from the skill sets I can offer. I am currently the information management officer for the Denver Army Recruiting Battalion where I have added to my knowledge, skills and abilities of I.T. and leadership skills. I have earned my security plus certification and look forward to warning many more I.T. certifications.
