After minimal engagements, the scope was expanded to other areas and the firm is very happy with the recommendations and deliverables. The deliverables will be able to be used to help simplify training new staff and streamline daily work helping keep Overhead costs where they need to be. Automation was a big key that was coming out of the discussions instantly bringing up options for cost savings and containment within weeks.International Acquisition - Engineering firm in India - Project Controls, Timekeeping, and Financials were in scope. There were discussions about a rolling out a new ERP system in India to provide better reporting and financial information more timely than what was available. After a 2 week engagement with me on site in Mumbai - we discovered the data model in place would accept simple changes that would speed up executive reporting by 2 weeks and automate conversions from INR to US Dollars. Simple changes to the Timekeeping system, Data Model updates, and the addition of a updated reporting model was planned out to a 76 day project start to finish with current staff on site.
