Key Responsibilities· As Head of Pre-production my job was to oversee a department whose responsibilities were ensuring all documentation, printing plates, dies and any other relevant information needed for production were on-site and ready for printing to commence.· Being involved in all aspects from initial creation of critical paths (liaising with material suppliers), initial design (liaising with the customers designer to ensure it fits within print specification), through the approval process (commenting on PDFs or via online approval systems) and finally dealing with repro houses, die makers and plate makers to ensure all components required to print the job are at the factory in time.· Applying print knowledge throughout the process from dealing with customers at initial artwork meetings, setting up of spec sheets, checking print laydowns, through to attending and signing off Press passes.Major Achievements· Successfully launched more than 6,000 new products across 10 different packaging formats.· Being given sole responsibility for the signing off of customer launches on press due to the trust built up through dealings.· Being promoted into management and Head of Pre-production after only 18 months.· Taking on responsibility for employment of new team members of staff.· Increasing technical knowledge of the print and packaging process through continual development and involvement in new packaging systems, from concept through to manufacture and delivery.

Based out of the Johnson & Johnson marketing headquarters (UK), I coordinated and managed brand projects across the EAME (Europe, Africa & Middle East) region. My role entailed being the intermediary between the brand and their key contacts such as local markets, regulatory, production, suppliers, designers and other departments. My printing background allowed me to interact and provide knowledge where necessary to all key stakeholders who may not be familiar with the production aspects of their product/brand. Key brands including - Clean & Clear, Johnson’s Baby, Johnson’s Adult, Piz Buin, Regaine, Natusan, Vania (Carefree France) and many others.

Account Manager selling a complete printing and packaging solution to a range of industries and business sectors throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific. Role comprised of managing existing business as well as new business development.• Account Manager for company’s top client as well as approx 30 others with an annual budget of NZ$9 million.• Responsibility for driving new business within the horticultural packaging sector by way of research and organising business visits.• Sole responsibility for all overseas clients across the South Pacific.• Forecasting on a monthly basis for the purpose of ordering raw materials.• Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual budgets.• Maximise loyalty, distribution, margin and volume through the account chain in line with brand value etc• Relationship building (phone, email and site visits) – minimum of monthly site visits to New Zealand based customers and visits every 3 months to international clients.
