I grew up on a farm and ranch east of Helena. My wife and I are certified foster care providers, currently have 4 kids (three of which are adopted). My wife and the kids help run the family cattle ranch. I have a bachelors degree in civil engineering from MSU Bozeman. I serve as a principal of Triple Tree Engineering and have more than 14 years of transportation, water system, wastewater system, stormwater system, and land development design and management experience; including funding, bidding and construction management. I also have design and construction management experience, and have spent the last several years as a project and staff manager. I have worked closely with the Montana Department of Environmental Quality (MTDEQ), Montana Department of Transportation (MDT), Montana Department of Commerce, and Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation (DNRC) and understand their policies and procedures.
