Lead Contract Manufacturing Sourcing team for North America Zone

 Led new packaging architecture project in 2016-2017 completing a full PIPO with $0 in E&O. Supply Chain lead for launch of women’s brand Flamingo which encompassed 6 SKUs with landed costs beating margin targets. Successfully led tech transfer of H's Shave Gel to an additional site locking in 15% landed cost reduction in the process. Initiated and led Arena PLM software to launch a company-wide system for master data management and control. Negotiated the entirety of the Harry's and Flamingo tube business creating a 5% cost down across all platforms. Implemented a Supplier Score Card cross functionally. Scores are automatically stored in a database once submitted. Successfully led 5 emergency RFQs and tech transfers, leading the products into a steady state of supply. Created new standardized RFQ process for the company in the process of this tech transfer effort. Initiated and led Bottle cost reduction project moving from direct deco to labels with projected savings of $1M units in Y1 and $0 CapEx. Initiated and led tech transfer for a new launch product, taking $1.20 out of COGS and drastically improving margins by double digits.  Independently negotiated $4.5MM in CapEx cost savings for a major project launch.

 Built a Supply Chain and Ops Team from the ground up for Kiko retail and e-comm expansion into North America. Introduced IQC and OQC policies and procedures that mirror the European system while also enhancing the process for U.S. needs. Successfully launched e-commerce in U.S. in 2nd Quarter 2015 managing its gradual rise with continuous improvement. Planned and executed stock replenishment and new launches at DC, retail stores, and ecommerce platform. Sourcing new packaging suppliers and contract manufacturers and conducted on-site mass production validation.

 Managed entire Supply Chain from concept to market as well as the entire Ops team. Project manager for all new product launches (about 15-30 per season) for the four brands under Anthony Brands. Created and maintained inventory strategy on all basic business SKUs, being sure that no SKU ever went out of stock. Worked directly with contract manufacturers, negotiating pricing and working with the labs on new formulas and formula improvement. Managed all purchasing decisions packaging and contract manufacturing, awarding business following negotiation on pricing and timing.

 Project manager for multiple new product and seasonal collection launches. (50 SKUs per year).  Created, maintained, and managed timelines corresponding to these launches which lasted 1 yr to 2 yrs from concept to market.  Ensured accurate forecasting, working cross functionally for each SKU managed.  Manually worked through an SAP implementation issue with forecast inaccuracies that saved the company over $1 million in lost sales.  Ensured service targets of 94% are achieved by working with deployment team to ensure shipments are accurately made globally.

Northtec Bristol Facility, Bristol, PA• Managed multiple rooms and lines of the production floor optimizing quality, productivity, safety, and cleanliness.• Motivated 50-60 temps and full time employees to exceed daily pressing goals through effective communication.• Communicated and assisted both Warehouse and Planning departments to ensure service goals were achieved. • Lead Supervisor in the Behavior Based Safety Steering Committee. Encouraged and maintained a monthly employee participation rate greater than the 30% corporate goal.

- Backfilled for 5 months as a Resource Planner while position was vacant.- Coordinated with material planning, supply planning, 3rd subcontracting, both on-site and subcontracted warehouse team, and on-site production team to ensure products under my jurisdiction were always stocked when needed in the distribution centers.- Coordinated with package testing and QA to ensure new products were sufficiently designed for smooth production and shipment- Planned products in weekly, monthly, and long-term buckets to ensure all materials were available when demands dictated.- Gathered data for and distributed Out of Stock Report for Northtec Keystone plant.- Scheduled for both long and short term with Production Scheduler maitaining a smooth flow of work while not exceeding capacity constraints.- Executed excess material DAV's while coordinating with both the brands and warehousing.

Northtec Trevose Facility, Trevose, PA• Managed production floor optimizing quality, productivity and safety in an upbeat and fast paced environment.• Motivated 30-40 full time and on-call employees daily through effective communication• Liaison between Resource Planners and Warehouse staff to ensure efficient production runs. • Leader in Team Trevose project, which redefined and created greater efficiency to all of the job functions related to automated production. Introduced Lean and 5S to the automated work center and established procedures that have sustained since October 2008.• Completed a solo project in March 2010 which re-evaluated and redefined Loose Powder sanitation procedures. Updated work instructions and validated a new washing process. Presented new procedure to the Loose Powder Supervisory and mechanical staff. Facility update occurred in April 2010.• Member of the Trevose Lean Organization team, and oversee the sustainability of 5S between both the Trevose Main and Annex operations.• Lead Supervisor in the absence of the Night Shift Production Manager.• Member of the Northtec Exempt Activities Committee, which has successfully planned extracurricular activities for management engagement.• Lead supervisor in a Kaizen event which introduced Lean/5S and also maximized changeover times on Trevose Main Building’s automated resources.
