Directed all professional operations at several of Montefiore Health Systems Emergency Departments totaling >60K visits per year. Managed through a period of double digit volume growth while improving quality metrics and press ganey scores at all sites managed. Implemented multiple successful practice improvement programs including: Gold Plus Stroke program, Scribe program, EPIC EMR rollout, APP programs, and a variety of QAPI initiatives. Cared for a medically complex, high acuity patient population. Taught residents and medical students.

Managed all aspects of a large academic Emergency Department's research apparatus. Helped lead a team of principal investigators, research associates, residents, fellows and medical students in development and performance of research including: Basic and Translational research on pro-inflammatory cytokines, Advanced and Surgical Airway management, Stroke, Sepsis, Ultrasound. Acted as PI and Co-PI on several NIH RO1 grants and National randomized controlled trials, as well as a multitude of State, institutional, and biotechnology grants. Produced >200 peer reviewed Abstracts, Manuscripts, and platform presentations.
