I am a habitual problem solver with a degree in Computer Science from George Mason University. I enjoy finding ways to create efficient or automated solutions to complex problems both on and off the clock. I attained Eagle Scout with Gold Palm in Scouts and was Senior Patrol Leader, and I have carried that leadership experience with me into projects and my everyday life. Those skills coupled with my project management experience from the IT specialty center in high school along with courses in college have equipped me well to tackle complex technical challenges.I have gained experience with network engineering and web development along with a bit of network monitoring, virtual machine management, and user account management across five summers at RichWeb (for whom I now work full time) which has included some on-site client experience. While at RichWeb, I started by learning, and since have written and taught, curriculum from the NEATrack (Network Engineering Apprenticeship Training) program, which is "designed to teach fundamentals of network engineering and virtualization to high school and college students". The curriculum covers topics students may not learn in-depth until later in their education or even once hired, such as Linux KVM hypervisors, IP networking, and Cisco routing and switching.I also learned about robotic controls and computer vision during my senior year as programming co-captain in First FRC Robotics Team 1086. With this diverse experience, I've been successful with interesting projects both independently and in the workplace. Some personal projects I have enjoyed include automating moderation for a Discord server, creating a bot to play an online game with me, and using Google Cloud Vision to extract info from in-app screenshots to help with group management.
