Starting at the age of 15 as a bagger, I have worked my way up through every rung of the retail establishment ladder. Holding titles in multiple fresh food departments, learning valuable skills, knowledge and experience along the way. Bakery has always been a passion of mine, as I am a sweets lover, but I have branched out to hold titles in Deli, General Merchandising, and Produce to Store management. I have a great eye for visual merchandising and ease of shopping for the guest. I have taken my knowledge and experience and trained multiple colleagues to be assistant department managers with all of them becoming Department Managers themselves. Shrink is an enemy that I have conquered on a small scale to a large scale, with the understanding that shrink is not always a bad thing, for if you don't have any, you have missed sales. It's a love hate relationship. Controlling that fine line and understanding the why's and how's to maximize opportunities and sales. I have grand opened and re-grand opened both grocery and retail stores. I dive into any business that I am welcomed to treating it as if it was my own. I will travel far and wide to see the success of both the company and the individual store in which I am working in on that day. I look forward to work, which is a great feeling when you love what you do, and strive to teach that to both my daughters and my son. Love what you do! Love where you are!
