As a Project Manager and Estimator with over 20 years of experience in the electrical construction industry, I am passionate about delivering high-quality projects within budget and timeline. Currently, I work remotely in Florida and serve customers in mainly the Midwest and Chicago estimating and managing projects in a double-breasted competitive market. I am open to relocation. My core competencies include project planning, coordination, and contract management. I collaborate with clients, contractors, vendors, and engineers to define project scopes, objectives, budgets and deliverables. I also monitor and control project progress, costs, and risks, and communicate with stakeholders on project status and issues. In my previous roles, I have successfully worked on large-scale warehouse distribution centers, hospitality projects, medical offices, multi-family and high end residential among others. I have also demonstrated my ability to cut swelling budgets, expand change order billing, and recruit personnel from all over the state to meet increasing labor demands. My background in strategic planning, construction, contract negotiation, hands on field work and construction management enables me to excel in this challenging and rewarding field. I am an optimistic pessimist, a happy curmudgeon and the best day on any project is when it is complete.
