For over a decade, I've had the opportunity to co-lead Tailwater, a firm dedicated to being a trusted partner in energy and environmental infrastructure investing. Since our inception in 2013, we've raised more than $4.5 billion in committed capital and completed over 100 transactions, totaling more than $23 billion in value. Our team is focused on securing strong returns for our investors while creating solutions that improve human life. My primary responsibilities at Tailwater include deal sourcing, execution, and monitoring of our firm’s investments, as well as its overall management. I also serve on the boards of several of our portfolio companies, including Goodnight Midstream, Pivotal Royalties Partners, Renovo Resources, Silver Creek Midstream, Tall Oak Midstream, and Triten Energy Partners. This involvement allows me to stay closely connected with our investments and contribute directly to their strategic direction.

As part of the senior leadership team at HM Capital Partners, I was responsible for deal sourcing, execution, monitoring, and exit strategies. This role allowed me to directly influence the firm’s investment decisions and outcomes, contributing to numerous successful transactions. The experience was instrumental in refining my approach to private equity, laying the groundwork for my later work at Tailwater.

My time at Rice, Sangalis, Toole & Wilson allowed me to develop a deep understanding of financial structuring and investment analysis. It was a formative experience that set the stage for my growth in the industry.

During my time at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, I was responsible for trading energy and transportation securities listed on the NYSE and AMEX. This role involved managing complex trading strategies and conducting in-depth market analysis to drive successful outcomes. The experience sharpened my skills in understanding sector-specific dynamics and laid a strong foundation for my future investment career.
