I am looking to continue moving up the Engineering ladder and make a difference at my company through innovation, quality design and thorough testing.For almost 9 years, I worked in the factory at Intel for the development team. I learned to take my work ethic to a new level while in this job role. We were constantly trying new methodologies to make the processors smaller and faster. Also, training is at a constant pace in this environment because Intel products are made exactly the same way, no matter which factory does the build. Intel calls this "Copy Exactly" and it is enforced from the bolts that keep the tools on the floor, to the process that is followed for creating the chips.Over the last year, I have been working as a Product Development Engineer for Intel. In this position we use a Linux environment to write and run test in a pre-silicon environment for post-sillicon applications. My responsibilities are to write tests targeting specific functional units for Intel's new products. These tests are written in perl that packages the IA-32 assembly for silicon friendliness. It is my responsibility to ensure our tests are thoroughly written so Intel doesn't have escapes.
