Design innovating high quality, award winning (and commercially successful) analog and digital guitar effects pedals. Work entire product life-cycle: concept, design, costing, compliance testing, production support, sales support.• Firmware programming: embedded test-driven development in C (and some assembly). Program and debug DSP’s, MCU’s, peripherals (ADC’s, Codec’s, EEPROM, RAM) over various serial protocols ( SPI, I2C, I2S, MIDI). In various development environments (VisualDSP, MPLAB), debugging over ICE/JTAG. • Hardware Design: 8-Layer mixed signal boards integrating DSP with various peripherals and high resolution low-noise (>100dB SNR) and low distortion (< 0.01%THD+N) audio signal path. Complying with FCC Class-B EMC and meeting low power consumption requirements. Reliability in harsh environments (stomping and beer resistant).• Real-Time Audio DSP: Developed many algorithms with a focus on quality and performance. Algorithms using: waveshaping, multi sample rate, FFT, STFT, Pitch Shifting, analog circuit simulation.
