As the Security Director, I have been working to improve, implement, and introduce new strategies in the areas of security readiness, reaction, and proactive practices. Re-connected and developed relationships with the local Saint Paul Police Department, Minnesota State system office, County Emergency Management personnel, and metro area community colleges. I am currently working on security upgrades to the physical plant of the campus and implementing our Incident Command System to allow smoother coverage, improved response times, and better control in the event of a security incident.• Implemented and managed the integration of Report Exec (RMS) to increase security presence, patrol, and the ability to respond faster and obtain more accurate reports. • Developed a close relationship with Law Enforcement regarding St. Paul ordinances, harassment orders, and response to criminal actions.• Working with multiple stakeholders in order to complete and improve the Clery Reporting, Campus Security Authority training, and NIMS structure and protocol on campus.• Developing and building a collaborative environment with open communication both on and off campus, as well as near, and around the campus community. • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the relationship between third-party contractors and the client, both as the service provider and the client.
