Responsible for conducting Investigations, inspections, inquiries, reviews, studies, analyses, of operations that provide an independent, in-house means of detecting inefficiencies and improprieties. Ensures internal efforts align with operational requirements, including compliance with established policy, personnel management, budget oversight, program planning and execution, resource allocation including manpower, budget preparation and execution of funds in accordance with Federal laws and regulations. Provides written reports and recommendations to operational commanders in regards to findings.

Primarily responsible for assisting active duty, reserve and military veterans transition into law enforcement careers within the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office. Actively interfacing between JSO staff and veterans to interpret military career information, obtain military/VA documents, as well as mentor applicants as they transition into the Police Academy.

Developed and coordinated complex Hull Maintenance and Engineering (HM&E) Projects within the submarine community. Lead teams in the installation and upgrades of Combat Systems equipment coordinating between both military and non-military entities both domestically and abroad on time and under budget.Managed 5 forward deployed submarine crews in the development of training programs that enabled each 15 person department to meet their ever evolving needs. These programs included but are not limited to the incorporation of instructor lead classroom training, on the job experience , self study programs and simulator training events. These training programs ultimately resulted in certifying events in which I directly graded the individual and team aspects of performance and certified them in their respective areas of expertise. After certification I periodically monitored personnel on the job to ensure performance standards are being met. Directed the preventative and emergent maintenance needs of the AN/BQQ-5, AN/BQQ-6, AN/BQQ-10 TI-10 APB-11, TI-I6 APB-15 Sonar systems and sub-systems to include towed arrays and associated handling systems utilizing analog/digital troubleshooting, LAN/WAN administration, fiber optics troubleshooting and repair, Linux based networking, electro-hydraulic equipment maintenance, electro-mechanical equipment maintenance, hardware component repair and replacement, tactical system diagnostics, system reconfigurations/technical insertions and IETM utilization.

Directed the day to day operations of 24 employees in 3 electronics departments. Supervised workers in the operation of electronic integrated equipment and subsystems which provided on the job training to 15 employees. Advised subordinates on electrical equipment repairs. Oversaw the training of subordinates to increase the electronic integrated equipment knowledge. Manage and plan weekly preventative and corrective maintenance schedules which maintain the electronics on a 3 billion dollar submarine. Planned, supervised and inspected the execution of a 12 month electronics integrated system upgrade. Administered the use of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) and Quality Assurance by monitoring performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Provided technical and engineering assistance to resolve complicated problems. Supervised spot checks for work compliance with acceptable trade practices and specifications. Developed constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintained them over time. Motivated employees to increase staff productivity and efficiency by 50 percent. Interacted with engineering personnel, manufacturer’s personnel, and field unit personnel in troubleshooting and developing modifications or corrections to equipment to reduce breakdowns and or simplify repairs increasing efficiency of operation. Supervised the daily operations of a Navy medium sized recruiting station with 4 active duty recruiters.
