Served as the ground task force operations officer for the Department of Defense’s Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and High Explosive (CBRNE) Consequence Management Response Force (CCMRF). Orchestrated mobility exercises, coordinated with joint and inter-agency partners and developed standard operating procedures which were later implemented as the baseline standards for the CCMRF Task Force Operations assigned units.

Served as the battalion operations officer responsible for planning and executing combat operations over a 1200 sq. km area of operations. Conducted local engagements with tribal leadership and led alternate command post operations for an Iraqi BN and US mechanized infantry company. Heavily partnered with and mentored the staff of the 1st Brigade, 1st Iraq Division during the transition to Iraqi Security Force-led operations in 2008.
