Structural design of single-family residence, decks, patios in high wind speed zones. Most calculations for steel and wood framing done by hand. Design of steel framing of garage, new house foundation, and framing in a structure. Sized beams, columns, and connections using AISC 13th Edition. Design of vertical raises of buildings for FEMA flood zones. Create forensic reports for houses damaged or destroyed by Hurricane Ike using a mathematical analysis program for wind and water damage comparison. Assisted in creating the analysis program.

Structural design of over 50 multifamily housing projects, garden style and high density, in multiple states. Job includes travel to multiple states. Extensive structural design experience with structural steel, wood framing for both interior units and roofing. Design of slab on grade foundations using post tension and conventional reinforcement. Design of concrete parking garages and elevated podium slabs. Experience managing resources and personnel to ensure production of high quality engineering products and services. Created a bid package for water lines to go to contract. Worked on the development of a design for two water mains for the city. Reviewed and revised design documents. Researched price break downs for elevated water storage tanks.

Created layout designs and unit cost estimates of subdivisions for biding purposes. Created Excel programs for determining the size of curb inlets and details of water flow in drainage pipes for streets. Reviewed and corrected site plans for a strip mall.
