I specialize in trim carpentry: cabinets, doors, windows, flooring, trim (baseboards, door and window casing, crown moulding, etc.), shelving, built-ins, and wall units. I can install pre-made cabinets, shelving, etc. or custom design and build whatever you need.I also have experience with decks, covered porches, fences, and exterior trim. If it involves wood, I can probably do it.

My position entails providing municipal energy code, Energy Star, and EFL inspections and testing for the southern Arizona market. I work with more than a dozen builders on close to forty subdivisions and custom sites. In the field it is necessary to maintain clear and prompt communication with close to fifty superintendents and project managers, and at times sales and customer service staff as well as homeowners. In addition to the inspection and testing services I provide I support our clients by helping track down comfort and performance issues after homeowners have taken possession of the property. I provide and maintain records of all applicable documentation and certification required by the builders and local building officials. I am also available to educate and train builders, sales people, and the trades on the code and program requirements that I am responsible for insuring they are compliant with.

Start to finish responsibility for the completion of a $1,000,000+ telecommunications upgrade at the Wilson K-8 school. I coordinated with the project architect, district and school officials, subcontractors, and suppliers to complete the project, on an extremely tight three month deadline, on time and under budget.
