Mange 75+ employees over 12 different lab spaces in a large medical device testing facility. Responsible for budget management, client requested metrics of workload, hiring of employees, creation and delivery of reviews. Interaction with the client to improve lab efficiencies and forecasting of incoming workload to evaluate resource needs.

Responsible for guiding work flow through the mechanical lab, which includes delegating other technicians and scheduling test equipment. Interact with customers to gather details needed to complete testing and discuss results criteria. Take part in weekly leadership meetings. Lead weekly workload meetings with the mechanical group.

Contracted at a large Medical device company in the Blue Ash area. Conduct testing of medical/ surgical devices. Testing includes tensile/compression test via MTS Instron test frames and a Mini-Bionix servo hydraulic multi-axis test frame; also conduct torsion testing. Utilize Test Works test software with pre-established methods and work with the engineering team to develop new test methods. Also work with Lab View testing software. Utilize Solid Works and a Maker Bot 3d printer to design and print test fixtures. Work with several product line engineering teams to develop, document and conduct experimental test protocols. Work with teams to finalize testing for product launch. Have implemented updated report templates. Work within Microsoft Access database to establish backlog queries. Assist the on-site manager with scheduling and delegation of work requests. Serve as a member/chair of a lab improvement small group. Upon initial employment served 3 months at the ATL base facility performing building maintenance of HVAC systems and warehouse organization, utilizing fork lift operator certification. Set up and organized a tool crib. During the 3 month stint, I also mapped out the building layout for the local municipalities to show the location of HVAC ventilation and controls, as well as the fire suppression units and any hazardous chemical storage areas.

Perform duties such as presenting sermons to the congregation, emcee Sunday morning services, conduct baptisms, counseling, officiate funerals and weddings. Operate the sound booth and set the lighting for services and special sessions. Video record the services. Train students and adults in each of those functions. Have received training in conflict resolution. Completed the Ministerial Ordination process, and received recognition by the State of Ohio as an Ordained Minister on 10/25/12.

Create age appropriate curriculum, provide counseling, plan outings and fundraisers, co-ordinate youth activities with church activities. Continue education through the attendance to leadership and discipleship training seminars.

Assisted in the installation of heating and air conditioning systems, including high voltage wiring, plumbing, and mild sheet metal work; Performed warehouse and fleet inventory, reorder and restock; Moved warehouse and contents to a new facility. Utilized fork lift operator certification to setup, arrange and manage the warehouse. Construction of the warehouse including carpentry, electrical and plumbing, built shelving, storage areas, a mezzanine, organized the new warehouse, conducted warranty returns, performed minor fleet maintenance.

Conducted testing of medical devices, in charge of purchasing laboratory supplies, maintained the laboratory quality system, wrote test procedures and trained employees, oversaw calibration of equipment and standards, CAD and Alibre drafting software, experience in creation of Dasylab worksheets/experiments, implemented Charpy impact testing and created training for colleagues, tensile testing, torque testing, quote projects, maintained employee training matrix, conducted monthly quality and safety meetings; Instrumental in the implementation of CNC automation of machines to save manufacturing time. Received training as an internal auditor, .prepared the company when the time arrived for audit. Auditing bodies included A2LA, Nadcap, ISO17025 and SAE Aerospace. Reviewed audit results and performed the necessary corrective actions, then wrote the responses to the auditing bodies.

Performed electro-polishing of metals, operated x-ray diffraction test machines for residual stress analysis, initiation and set-up of projects, strain gage and sectioning of various metal samples, training and supervision of technician assistants, perform monthly supply inventory checks, and maintenance of sectioning laboratory equipment. Set-up projects, provided quotes for work requests, and results reporting. Trained in and received fork lift operator certification.

Responsible for maintaining account’s chemical inventory, testing boilers, cooling towers, industrial washers, and maintenance cleaning equipment. Installed and setup automated chemical feed equipment; served as a liaison between the customer and the primary sales representatives in regards to suggestions for improvement and reordering.

Customer service, which included sales of tires and maintenance packages; provided quotes for service and scheduled work with technicians and customers; top salesperson for location 5 out of the 6 months employed.

Perform metal treatment and pretreatment work requests in the areas of metal cleaning, iron phosphatizing, paint stripping, humidity testing and other various procedures. Paint parts using wet and dry painting methods. Serve as a tech service contact for the areas of work requests performed; interaction with both the customers and the sales force.

Contracted to Hoescht Marion Roussel. Worked in a chemical group that housed elements used to make up pharmaceutical compounds; Tasked with weighing out and shipping half of the inventory to a facility in Germany. Utilized excel and a barcoding system to track the compounds shipped.

Conducted physical testing of plastics, including density analysis, Gardner impact testing, Charpy and Izod impact testing, clarity testing, batch processing, film testing, batch blending, conducted analytical analysis (FTIR). Also assisted the plant safety engineer in updating all of the SOP manuals and aided in safety training.
