As the Director of Education at SigEp, I lead the education department, ensuring all educational initiatives align with the organization's strategic plan and provide value for undergraduates and alumni/volunteers. In my current role, I manage a team leading a pilot program dedicated to revitalizing the BMP at over 60 campuses. Through 1:1 meetings, quantitative surveys, and data-driven feedback, we have refined our curriculum to meet the evolving needs of our 12,000+ members. Recently, I partnered with our InfoSystems team to prepare a new learning management system (LMS), authoring over 40 courses on leadership development, officer training, goal setting, and communication. I assisted in creating learning plans, user-friendly interfaces, and organization for thousands of users.I earned my M.Ed from the University of South Carolina after working in corporate America for a few years. Since transitioning to Higher Education, I have worked in Fraternity & Sorority Life and advising student organizations; Interpersonal Violence Victim Advocate, Prevention Education & pandemic response; and as a career coach, including teaching a professional development and career tools course.I have presented at local, state, and national conferences and workshops on risk reduction; Title IX and working with universities; engaging men on college campuses and healthy masculinity; bystander intervention and consent; and etiquette/professional dining. Furthermore, my area of expertise within the realm of victim advocacy is working with LGBTQ+ folks, which has resulted in consultations with state and federal agencies among many conference workshops.I also taught University 101, the #1 ranked public university first-year experience course and was a multi-time finalist for Instructor of the Year. Through U101 and USC's Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, received a certificate in anti-racism education. Additionally, I have won awards for continuing excellence at USC.Outside of work, I'm an avid gamer and fitness/health enthusiast. I'm regularly found at the gym in the mornings, eat a balanced, healthy diet, and love video games (built my own PC), reading, and movies.
