I am aligned with multiple teams to accelerate implementation of high priority projects leveraging both architectural and DevOps skills with emphasis on Open Source solutions.I am participating in Cloud.Next strategy to re-evalute current cloud and multi-cloud approaches with emphasis on simplifying Ingress / Egress Patterns, Service Catalog, and Developer Self Service.Defined integration pattern to support numerous cloud native technologies featuring SQS, SNS, S3, Lambda and API Gateway in a secure manner. Built terraform modules to easily facilitate the generation of this pattern.

I am excited to be working at Cohesity which offers transformational technology in data management. Cohesity Data Platform offers unique capabilities to make backups and storage data productive. Additionally, Cohesity facilitates cloud migrations, protects against ransomware, enables offline vulnerability scanning, and boasts self service capabilities useful for DevOps, Agile, Developers and Data Scientists.

Working with the DevOps team responsible for CI/CD operations and AWS administration of over 350 EC2 instances. The team provides self service support, logging (ELK), and application platforms for multiple healthcare related products and brands.I developed a MS Windows practice in AWS to support healthcare brands that rely on Windows OS. The practice boasts a highly secure Windows environment leveraging AWS AD, least privilege design, App Locker, RDS bastion gateway, and CIS based security controls. Configurations are managed via Group Policies and PowerShell DSC with partial configurations.As part of my responsibilities, I worked closely with development teams and built CI/CD jobs and PowerShell scripts leveraging Jenkins and Nexus. Custom AMIs were developed leveraging Hashicorp Packer. All manner of AWS technologies were utilized including Lambdas, Cloud Formation Templates, EC2, S3, SSM, VPC and peering, aws cli, and AWS PowerShell Tools.

Design a new SCOM 2012 R2 infrastructure for improved visibility into key applications and infrastructure. Worked with existing team to implement new SCOM Management Group in parallel to an existing management group. The environments leveraged redundant gateways for multiple network zones. Added increased capabilities and scoped console access for application teams to view 3rd party and custom management packs that are germane to the systems they manage.I also implemented a sealed management pack to offer dynamic grouping and custom views based on over 10 pieces of metadata including application tagging. Further, implemented a "Custom Application" management pack framework to easily provide quick visibility for applications that do not offer a management pack. These custom management packs include 3 dashboard views.In this solution, Network Monitoring was implemented and custom feature rich HTML email notifications were utilized. Visual Studio Authoring Extensions were used for MP development to mature the solution overtime, simplify deployment across environments, and utilize source control as changes are made.

At DSW, I successfully lead an effort to migrate a legacy Windows 2003 forest to Windows 2008 R2. I developed automation tools and scripts to identify and link accounts across a previously established Windows 2008 R2 forest. I worked with application teams and individuals to migrate users and applications to the new forest with no business impact. Upon completion of the domain migration, I have been working on automated deployment of Windows Systems for the Store Systems team. The solution entails a Store Web Management site built on Windows .NET MVC and Web API to bring about significant automation and visibility across multiple disparate systems management tools including Active Directory, System Center Configuration Manager, System Center Operations Manager, and other mobile device tools.

I was responsible for the design and implementation of a manageable Active Directory forest with Windows 2012, Windows 2008 R2, Windows 7, Windows 8 and XP devices to enable the business of retail sales. The solution included leveraging System Center Operations Manager, Configuration Manager, and Orchestrator 2012 to proactively manage over 15,000 devices. Additionally, numerous automation techniques were employed leveraging C# Web Pages, javascript, HTML Applications, vbscript, PowerShell, and custom windows images with fully unattended installation and automated provisioning. Leveraged WinPE, DFSR, Read Only Domain Controllers, Group Policy Objects. Employed VMWare and Hyper-V Virtualization. Wrote custom programs using the ConfigMgr and SCOM SDK.
