Started with a project for BHP through HWE. Installing Guarding around the Mt. Whaleback plant. This was a one and a half year project. On completion I was sent to Germany to oversee and report back on the 2 surface miners HWE bought. This was a month and a half trip working 5 days a week. Returning to perth to set up a team of workers to build the machines when the arrived in WA. The build period lasted 3 months which included running the machines on site for there final stage of acceptance. Finishing this I mobed up with a small team to Mt keith for a strip down of a 996 digger for service refurb parts. Then on the move again to OreBody 23/25 to supervise for a year and a half taking on a big task of keeping the aging plant going. This was a pleasure as the guys and girls there are funtastic to work with. Transfer to BHP Iron Ore and start CPM ( critical path maintenace )
