Oversee the design of products and handling of orders in correlation with Engineering, Project Management, and Project Development Engineers. My responsibility is to manage an order from start to finish and deal with all aspects of design. - Receive and interpret order pages- Translate information from the order pages to 2D schematics.- Distributing of drafting work and checking of that work.- Creation of 3D models for use in arrangement drawings showing assembled product.- Work with engineering in the creation of bills of materials and preparing drawings to send to the client.- Communicating with the client through face to face meetings, emails, comments on returned and revised drawings.- Ordering of parts for assembly. Creation of drawings for the purpose of purchasing or manufacturing of new parts.- Overseeing the assembly of parts on the shop floor including conducting a shop audit.- Drafting, checking, and approving drawings. Creating revisions, engineering change orders, and auditing of all drafting documentation. - Mindfully working to a strict schedule and making sure that I work with my team to make the dates as scheduled either on time or ahead of schedule.
