My role is to create business development in existing and new markets via the development of long standing business relationships.Highly sales oriented, key responsibilities include:- Cost and margin control for distribution business- Management of stock availability for sales completion; control of stock turns and policies to improve liquidity and removal of slow-moving stock- Selection of new products and brands to represent; negotiation of terms and conditions always, always in search of the best supply arrangement- Setting of the price lists and discount strategy; preparation of the sales team’s month objectives- Creation and communication of sales promos- Running commercial quality circles with special interest in competitive product analysis, strategies to beat the competition- Advisor to board on technology and trends
