My professional passions and interests lie in true project and business management. I strive to be tough but fair in my daily dealings inside and outside of my company. Some of the proudest moments of my professional career have been completing some of my most difficult projects on time, on budget and with a great safety record. PMs always strive for on time, on budget and a good safety record but the truth is very few projects go this way. However, when you do have one it is very rewarding and just makes you work that much harder so the next one goes that way too. I enjoy taking on the project that just "cannot be done" and making it happen. Whether this means turning a bad project around or beating a tight schedule or just pleasing a tough owner, it is the challenges that make the work exciting. My personal passions and interests lie with my faith, my wife and my 3 daughters (with some hunting mixed in). My children are very active in our church, athletics and musical interests. On the rare weekend we are not traveling to and watching a kids sporting event we like to camp as a family. Hiking and sitting by the campfire provide the rest and relaxation we need as family. In the fall I chase whitetails and pigs as much as my schedule will allow.
