Department of Transportation - FAA• NAS Cyber Operations Security Engineer responsible for: ArcSight, Splunk, and support strategic implementation of tools to support end-point management.• Support the Independent Risk Assessment Team by conducting Vulnerability Scans across all NAS Systems.United States – Army Branch• Applications of STIGS to products such as Open Shift, RHEL, EnterpriseDB, Windows environment and others. Support the implementation of Cyber Security Program.Corporate Partner:• Technical Writer for Cyber Security on RFP• Support the Business Development efforts• Identification and classification of contracting opportunities, partnerships, and business relationships.

Part of the Information Assurance Group supporting the management of EPO Server, Foundstone, Splunk, and integration of other tools.

Part time job (8 hours on Sunday). Primary job tasks were customer service on USAID backbone. From Active Directory functions (unlocking user accounts) to reporting and coordinating incident remediation. SPAM release and other taks were performed as well.

Primary Point of Contact for security related issues on the Inspector General Support System (IGSS). Performed Self-assesments on the systems, incident response coordination and testing, Security Plan development, Contingency Plan development, Configuration Management Plan development, and ensure the IGSS met NIST requirements and was in compliance at all times. Monitor and report security incidents.

Initially started working with Endeavor as a certification agent. Performed NIST Compliant Certification and Accreditation including Security Test and Evaluation against all Federal Student Aid appplications. Utilize NIST Standards and Vulnerability Scanning Reports to assess application security. Performed the job of Certification and Accreditation Lead for a period of time. Revised Security plans review checklist, Contingency Plans review checklist, and Configuration Management Plan review checklist. In addition, consolidated Security Assessment Reports into Out Brief presentation to the CIO. Provide recommendations on how to remediate findings and other security related issues.

Deputy Information System Security Office (ISSO): Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) management, FIPS Categorization and other security concepts. Assisted in the closure of POAM, C&A Process, Security Plans and other security related documentation (development and updates).

Software developer in Visual Basic 6.0. .Net, and SQL Server Database. Worked within a software developer team in the analysis, design, development and maintenance of Accounting Information Systems and Medical Record Management Systems.
