So this is THE WORK: after working 20 years to train leaders in non-profit and educational organizations, I'm listening to my heart, conversations with my children, and our recent travels to refocus my skills and energy in decarbonization and sustainability. I'm excited to use my core strengths in strategic planning and stakeholder engagement to help companies and organizations calculate their carbon emissions and undertake decarbonization efforts as they pursue Net Zero plans. I've been fortunate to work on projects like these as a Decarbonization Analyst at VOIZ Academy, and I look forward to working on projects like these full time.Here are a few accomplishments I'm proud of:--directed two different teams in designing a "leadership pipeline" of professional development courses that focused on strategic planning and data analytics for 250+ leaders in Seattle Schools--developed a stakeholder engagement plan for a major recreational manufacturer to guide supply chain partners in reducing carbon emissions and setting Science-based Targets (SBTis) for their operations--managed the Microsoft partnership to guide adoption of MS Teams and Power BI data dashboards by leaders in Seattle Schools--led team of educators to collaborate with Microsoft engineers in creating a hands-on STEM educational project for students during Microsoft's annual Hackathon--co-founded the University of Tennessee's Center for Educational Leadership to train aspiring principals in innovative practice-based program that partnered closely with local school districtsWhen I'm not tracking decarbonization news I'm most often biking or running in Seattle, cold-plunging in Lake Washington, or plotting a backpacking trip in the North Cascades Mountain Range.
