US Army Veteran with over 11 years experience in the fields of Cybersecurity Engineering and project management. Craves a challenge and an opportunity to learn and grow as an Information Technology (IT) professional and can work individually or in a diverse team. Experience in defense-in-depth concepts, network, and information system (IS) securing and IT auditing for security compliance using the NIST framework. Familiar with DoD tools that include Tenable's Nessus/ACAS suite, McAfee's HBSS Enterprise Security Manager, and the SCAP compliance tool. I have a passion for passing on knowledge of cybersecurity principles and mentoring junior IT professionals.Have held leadership roles in a variety of environments in IT Management, IT Security Management, Security Operations Center (SOC), and in a Collaboration & Cybersecurity Management while supervising between 4 and 12-person staff.For education, I hold a Masters' in Cybersecurity Technology. Certifications include CISSP, Security+, and ITIL. Additionally, I hold a current TS/SCI security clearance.
