I have a well-rounded set of skills in various industries mostly related to construction. I started in construction as an Apprentice Electrician in a commercial setting. I attended a trade school where I learned NDT and subsequently began performing Non-Destructive Testing Inspections. As a Level ll Ultrasonic testing Technician using Ultrasound to inspect steel structures for damage or flaws primarily in the refinery and nuclear industry. I then pivoted those skills to the traditional construction industry working self-employed throughout Southern California in commercial Hi and Lo rise construction. In 2000, I married and moved to the Livermore area and entered the HVAC field in new home construction rising through the ranks to become a journeyman and one of 4 supervisors in the company overseeing multiple employees and job sites to ensure timely and successful HVAC installations. In 2008 the new home construction industry stopped building during the economic downturn. I went back to doing NDT inspections this time in the railroad industry. After travelling around the country for a couple of years with the railroad performing inspections, I found my way to back to the bay area performing NDT inspections as well as learning other facets of the inspection industry such as soils testing, concrete testing, Welding inspection etc. I suffered an injury to a tendon in my arm at the end of 2021 that took me out of work for 6 months, I acquired my real estate license and worked alongside my wife who is also a real estate agent. I have a strong mechanical aptitude and excellent people skills, able to relate to and build rapport with many different personalities.
