I have been responsible for the DWQMS and all standard/emergency operating procedures. I have also been responsible for all water sampling and water quality issues including a community lead sampling program.I have first hand knowledge of water chemistry, treatment, UV, sampling procedures, well construction, water operations and have hands on experience repairing water system components. I am familiar with all Ontario drinking water Acts and Regulations and have obtained a Class 2 Certification for Water Distribution, an OIT for water treatment and have written and passed my Class 1 Certification for Water Treatment. I have taken Water Quality Sampling and Monitoring, Prevention of water borne illness, and safeguarding drinking water quality. I have received certification for Backflow Prevention and am a Certified Water Meter Installer. Ive completed Water Treatment Plant Operations,Utility Management and Water Distribution System Administration courses via correspondence from Sacramento State University California. I have WHMIS, Confined Spaces level 2, First Aid, CPR, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods training. I am a certified member of the joint Health and Safety Committee and was previously co-chair. I have excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Front Page, and am compatible with all software including android, IOS, as well as Blackberry and Windows platforms. I also have completed GPS Navigation, GIS Map and Compass Orienteering, First Aid and CPR, Flygt pump training, and commissioning of new water mains. I have exceptional customer service/troubleshooting skills.
