Responsible for all of the after sales service department (after sales maintenance and engineering) in Canada, USA, and Puerto Rico. Equipment manufacturing operations in Europe and US.After sales service responsibility include all Lyophilization and Liquid filling (isolated/non-isolated) equipment for all pharmaceutical manufactured and installed equipment base in North America.

Responsibility for manufacturing/maintenance engineering, automation engineering and maintenance operations in Steriles Filling and Packaging Departments

Responsibility for all maintenance operations in the Steriles Fill/Finish business unit.

Responsible for all Process Engineering related CMO activities in Steriles filling pertaining to the current operations, new projects, tech transfers, and large scale capital projects with oversight of 10+ engineers. Process Engineering oversight of operations consists of isolator/aseptic manufacturing, patch coating, terminal sterilization, CIP/SIP processes, vial and syringe filling and freeze drying operations.

Our facility currently has 4 commercial production filling lines, 2 product development (PDS) filling lines (ALL ASEPTIC) and 13 Freeze dryers. Tasks include optimizing equipment pm's, overseeing all equipment breakdown RCA's, monitoring top plant cost drivers through SAP, determining long term solutions for problematic equipment in the plant and optimizing equipment spare parts lists through FMECA studies. Responsible party within Engineering whom is in charge of reviewing all new projects and new equipment for long term maintenance needs. This includes parts usage, maintenance access, training needs, spare parts recommendations, preventative maintenance requirements and the need for specialized tooling and labor.Champion for designing and implementing the New Site Reliability Program.Champion for the implementation of the new predictive maintenance program including Thermographic imaging, wireless vibration analysis, and oil analysis.

I oversaw a group of 20 maintenance technicians at any given time in our Aseptic/Terminally sterilized filling area. Our facility included syringe, vial, and ampoule filling lines. Two of these lines were aseptic isolator filling lines with SIP/CIP systems designed for them. My tasks here included employee training tracking, daily pm monitoring and determining long term repairs for issues relating to production equipment. During my time as supervisor, I was in charge of all shutdown activities as it pertained to the filling line in which I oversaw. I oversaw each of our 5 filling lines as well as other equipment in the plant that was production related.
