My journey at Hypershell began as the next step following a fulfilling 3-month internship with the company. As a Software Developer, this role marked the launch of my post-college career, reaffirming my passion for programming.Key Achievements and Responsibilities:* Backend expertise: I was part of a dynamic agile team comprising 15+ developers. My responsibilities encompassed an array of technologies, including C#, WinForms, ASP.NET, and MSSQL. Collaborating on extensive projects with a diverse and talented group of developers was an enriching experience that honed my skills in data processing, database management, server-side logic and API design. This experience laid the groundwork for my career.* Timely Delivery: Our aim was to deliver high-quality software to our American clients. Meeting their expectations and working within a cyclical cadence was a critical aspect of my role. I was responsible to deliver and install releases with the client as I had the technical skills to solves issues during the process and the soft skills to handle them well when/if they arrived. This experience helped me understand the significance of meeting deadlines, client satisfaction and flexibility in software development.* Transformation: A defining challenge during my time at Hypershell was the successful transformation of a 'fat client' software system into a 'thin client' architecture. This ambitious undertaking required a complete overhaul of CRUD operations and interactions with the database to enable incorporating complex third-party engineering calculation software/DLLs. This complex project not only highlighted my problem-solving capabilities but also showcased my adaptability, resilience and willingness to take on demanding assignments.I was mentored by skillful seniors and later on took the mentorship myself of smart and willing interns, I have found memories of the work and the people there. I kept long lasting relationships with many of my old colleagues.
