With over 32 years of service, I held the highest level of technical authority and responsibility for the design, construction, maintenance, modernization, certification, and disposal of the Navy's ships, aircraft carriers, submarines, and associated combat and weapons systems; and above all else.... had fun doing it!As a certified nuclear engineer and reactor officer, I have extensive experience and knowledge in nuclear power and propulsion plant design, operations, and maintenance, as well as in acquisition, lifecycle management, and disposal of Navy nuclear assets. In my previous roles, I have successfully overseen the contract administration, engineering, quality assurance, and project management for nuclear aircraft carriers and submarines at Newport News Shipbuilding, as well as assisted the Naval Sea Systems Commander in strategic and tactical strategy development and execution of a 73,000 personnel organization.
